The goals of this project are to gather information from a source about the deportation of jews during the Holocaust. We are using a website that is mostly in Italian that contains primary and secondary source information about the topic.
http://digital-library.cdec.it/cdec-web/info/progetto.html
“In this portal it is possible to consult the archival and cataloging descriptions of the resources preserved in the Library, the Historical Archive, the Photographic Archive and the Audio-Visual Archive of the CDEC Foundation, as well as access some of the most important collections of the Foundation’s documentary heritage CDEC.”
This aligns with DH goals because of how we take this information from these sources and use our reasearch to give a good explanation of what it is and where it came from. This alligns with preserving culture and understanding before during and after the events of the Holocaust.
With the information that we provide we aim to make it easeir for those who want to get a better understanding of the holocaust as well as the people who where subjected to the atrocotys that took place during WW2.
