Selfiecity values culture and the impact it can have on us. This project wanted to showcase all cultures and show the beauty in the similarities and differences within all of them. Showcasing 5 different cities and representing 5 different cultures. In the “Imageplots” Selfiecity has created, it shows all the selfies from each city in a collage. When analyzing all the different cities data, using the “Imageplots” one cities selfies are shown all together. Using the “Imageplots, it showcases the culture of a city through their selfies, and then allowing us to compare and relate all cities together. Representing these cities shows the values within this project and their goal. The cultural values of Selfiecity does relate to the best practices of digital humanities by having a purpose to show and represent these cultures.
