Evaluation

This project met the standard of good practices in some parts, but definitely not all. The project answered critical questions like “How did the Homestead Act shape Indigenous land loss?” not just “Where did homesteads occur?” Historical context and sources cited were included with all primary documents, maps, treaties, and census data. One of the faults was shown in the case that users can’t view or download data to access themselves. Overall, this project shows a clear, general portion of data that is useful for nerds, but it is not the most reliable.
