About

Course information:

West Chester University’s Intro to the Digital Humanities course requires a group of students to review a DHM project (like Photo Trails, for instance). The review project must include: an overview and significance of the project, methodology, audience and disciplines, peers and context and an evaluation of the project.

Along with the rest of the class, our team used WordPress to share our review of Photo Trails. With the help of our professors, we decided to review Photo Trails rather than anything from Z-Lab (whose stuff is super hard to review, by the way and we highly don’t recommend trying to review their projects for this course). We used GroupMe to communicate throughout the duration of the project which benefited us much better than email would have because West Chester students hate checking their email (a fact, not an opinion).

We used WordPress to house all of our work, but every member was an admin so they had the ability to edit any work that needed tweaking. This was a collaborative effort, after all! Make sure to check out our TEAM PAGE to put some names to faces (in advance: you’re welcome for the pictures, Professor Cream!)
