This project proposes the creation of a Night Safety Visualization for West Chester University. It would be an interactive map that shows lighting levels, emergency call stations, isolated walkways, and safer nighttime routes.
This prospective project would serve students, staff, visitors, and campus safety teams across both North and South Campus, plus major off-campus walking paths.
The purpose of the project would be to support campus equity and overall safety, helping students and staff to feel as safe as possible while navigating campus at night and giving WCU evidence to improve lighting and accessibility.
