The project has Social Justice from them making the website into a memorial for the enslaved people and their families that have been forgotten. It also used for grieving, a gesture of gratitude and appreciation, recognition, exploration, and presentation for the enslaved people. They also made a visualization of a flower that states all the enslaves people put into the plantation every 3 years and the petals represent one enslave person that gives information about them and their time at the plantation.
