The goal of the project is, “(Un)Silencing Slavery: Remembering the Enslaved at Rose Hall Plantation, Jamaica, however, aims to re-center the lives of enslaved persons at Rose Hall Plantation by emphasizing the history of slavery and enslaved persons at that historical site”. The audience of the project is for the descendants of the enslaves people’s families. They did meet the goal because they have the flower as their data that represents the enslaved people that give information about them and their time at Rose Hall. As well as the information on the documents giving specific information about them that they record when they first come to Rose Hall, and Celia E. Naylor’s book that she wrote that is a part of the website. It does help the audience because they have these 3 sources of data or information that they can look at to learn about their descendants that were brought to the Rose Hall Plantation, Jamaica. It impacts the audience because they have information on their descendants that they didn’t have before and know they can learn more about them.
