Hello, my name is Kai Olsen, and I am a Sophomore Computer Science Major/Digital Humanities Minor here at West Chester University. I’m taking Introduction to Digital Humanities as a way for me to understand what Digital Humanities is. I took up DH as a minor after one of my Writing professors requested that I take the minor because it fits what I like to do.
- This project is being done as an individual project for DHS280, in Professor Cream’s class (2026).
In this project I hope to analyze how Digital Humanities and Computer Science connect and explain how well the two work together. I will explain what each discipline is about, as well as some of the goals, tools, and values of each for establishing the comparison. In addition, it will bring in a source and publication about Computer Science focusing into the programming aspects. The main focus of this is video games designed for engaging educational content for the classsroom.
