My name is Christian Oliveros, and the field I will be exploring is computer science, more specifically through the context of video games. This website is a project West Chester University’s DHM80, Intro to Digital Humanities class. I am a Computer Science major at the university with an interest in programming, video games and digital humanities.
On this site will explore the relationship between Computer Science and Digital Humanities. I will examine what each field studies, how each field approaches its work, and what output they produce. I will also cover the tools and methods used by both of the fields and how they can be applied to video games.
By the end of this project, you should have a strong understanding of what both computer science and digital humanities are and what they do, and how the two are connected to each other.
