If the goals of this project are met, a shareable educational tool will have been created that will allow members of the WCU community (and beyond) to learn about the lasting impact colonization has had on WCU land since the late 17th century. Additionally, BeforeWCU hopes to inspire similar projects at other American universities to recognize the profits made upon stolen indigenous land across the country.
