COURSE INFORMATION
West Chester University’s Intro to the Digital Humanities course requires a group of students to review a DHM project (like Pleiades). The review project must include: an overview and significance of the project, a project that demonstrates the use of place, space or location, methodology, audience and disciplines, peers and context and an evaluation of the project.
Along with the rest of the class, our team used WordPress to share our review of Pleiades. Shannon Vennie found Pleiades after the rest of the group expressed difficulty finding a project that fit with the place, space and location theme. We used GroupMe to communicate throughout the duration of the project which was much better than email because GroupMe is more direct, and Olivia doesn’t like the fact that emails require a subject line. Eric would rather send memes via GroupMe, too.
We used WordPress to house all of our work. Every team member had admin privileges so we were able to add new pages and edit each other’s work. Make sure to check out our TEAM PAGE to put some names to faces.
