SELFIECITY achieved their goals in this project. The main goal of this project was to inform academic researchers how the history of photography can help to better understand the selfies phenomenon and how we can theoretically approach social media images in general. They answered these questions by providing a set of data from selfies taken from different cities around the world. The inclusion of this data also allow viewers to examine what selfies from a specific city can tell us about that city.
