Overall, selfiecity achieves its main goal of providing a theoretical approach to social media images such as the selfie. The project adheres to the best practices of the Digital Humanities by being open and transparent; their goals, methods, data, and results were clear and easy to identify through the tabs on their website. Selfiecity provides many strong visualizations of its data, which aligns with the goals of the Digital Humanities of making cultural data accessible for analysis and interpretation.
