Selfiecity’s interactive and user friendly access makes it very popular for those who are interested in visual journalism and visual data science. People who are interested in the different cultures of media around the world would be able to visually see the differences using Selfiexploratory. This site is great for anyone wanting to do research on the advancement on things like camera quality over time, or preferred facial adjustments for taking selfies. Researchers would also find the site useful as Selfiecity shares some of its findings on selfies. They also add additional links to different websites, blogs, and videos for users to expand on their research outside of Selfiecity.

Visual Earth
Visual Earth is another project done by Dr. Lev Manovich. Visual Earth is a user friendly site that allows users to see the differences in image sharing around the world based on geographical, economic, and demographical differences. The site appeals to the same users as Selfiecity because of its culturally changing findings.
