Who is this project for?
The audience of West Chester Drag Queens is anyone who loves drag as much as we do! Drag is historically rich, but historically erased, so our intentions are to create an archive of drag history. Those who have historical drag content or new drag content can submit through our portal and participate in this project. We want our project to be an open and safe space for those who are interested and influenced by the art of drag. By keeping this project local we hope to create a close and intimate community of participants that feel included and welcomed in our online space. West Chester Drag Queens will be, not only a learning experience, but a fun one at that!
LGBTQIA+ Safe Space
West Chester Drag Queens will be a space that is open to all genders and sexual identities. Drag is a huge part of the queer community and this team values the respect and inclusivity of LGBTQIA+ persons. Queer history is often erased from media and while we are only focusing on one part of this history, we hope this will open doors to other projects.
