The goal of the Bestselling Books Project is to map the relationships between the subjects and the most-sold books.
On the left when you select a book, multiple genre tag bubbles come in from the right side to connect with the literature on what it’s about. Along with what the genre tag is, the bubble also contains connections on how many other literatures that falls under the same tag as the book you had selected.
When you click on one of the genre subject bubbles, the project now shows the numerous literatures that shares the same tags as the book you had found.
You can click on one of the connected literatures, and the system goes back to showing you what genre subject tags does the book you picked fall under.
All of this goes to show the interconnecting cycle between the books and the genres that readers would like to read from. This project helps the audience to find books similar to their reads, and discover new literatures that they may check out. All while bringing attention to books that fall in underrepresented tags to be read more.
