Our project draws on advances made by other similer projects.

Check Point is a a mapping system that show hacking threats like malware, phishing and exploit around the world.

Check point is similar to our project because it uses the same mapping style that we aim to create and has the same content we will show.  The difference in projects in the scale of them.  In check point they show hacking threats around the world while we are just showing threats on West Chester campus.

Mapping Marronage is an “interactive visualization of the trans-Atlantic networks of intellectual, creative and political exchange created by enslaved people in the 18th and 19th century.”

Mapping Marronage is similer to our project because it uses the same mapping style that we will use. It is different in the content. While we will show hacking threats Mapping Marronage shows exchanges between enslaved people.
