One of the most important values of the NetDefenders project is openness.  The data that our project collected will be shared with all members of the community. 

We will accomplish openness in this project by using it to have a different outlook on hacking. Openness is a value in this project because it’s built to help embrace learning of hacker attacks and open eyes to them as well so by having an open point of view it allows us to build this project in the view of someone who doesn’t know much about hacking. 

While there are many things digital humanities values openness is one of them and that’s how the NetDefenders project and digital humanities are connected.
