There is a moderately strong connection between the discipline of Communications and Digital Humanities.
When evaluating the relationship between the discipline of communications and digital humanities we found that both discipline strive for preserving and analyzing historical moments while also giving people the ability to use technology to immerse themselves in situations they want to learn more about.
As noted in our values page, the disciplines of communication and digital humanities both encourage the use of group. When collaboration is done in a project like The Virtual MLK project it gives a unique ability to analyze ideas through a variety of views. Though there is a connection between the values in Digital Humanities and Communications it is more of an indirect connection.
As noted in our goals page, the disciplines of communication and digital humanities like to focus on preserving and archiving information through immersive technology to give people the understanding of societal impacts from the past.
