Communication

The discipline of Communication is a complex field of study with several components. Wikipedia defines Communications as “an academic discipline that deals with processes of human communication and behavior, patterns of communication in interpersonal relationships, social interactions and communication in different cultures.[1]“.

These two people that are arguing show the example of interpersonal communication in the communication studies discipline.

Some of the branches to the discipline of communication studies are interpersonal, intercultural, rhetorical studies, political, corporate, public relations and more.

The disciplines of communications and digital humanities have a unique relationship in the way that both disciplines analyze information through digital technologies, getting a deeper understanding of culture, and understanding societal impacts.
