Results

This is a project that is continuous and will be ongoing for as long as there are more cities to research and implement in the map. Therefore, there are not necessarily any end results, as the project has not stopped, but regardless, there are results that have been found during the process. While these aren’t final results, as mentioned, there are still general conclusions that can be found, even if things are ongoing. For example, one can see how redlining affects each area, major cities, or the country as a whole. Beyond the data/maps themselves, the result is a more educated population when it comes to redlining and the HOLC, and people with a better understanding of the ways that the government directly oppressed certain groups in America. As for the redlined city and population itself, this project informs and opens up the opportunity for understanding of history and a hope for changes in the future to better things.
