Social Media Content

The data for this project consists of social media content.

The source of the data that is collected comes from Twitter. This data is collected through a tool called Twarc, which is a is a command line tool and Python library for collecting tweet data from Twitter’s official API. It is designed for reliably collecting historical as well as realtime data, and can be used as a software library in your own tools and applications.

The data content stems from the data format of Twitter, consisting of all of the meta data that associates with a tweet (user data, data printed, specific type of tweet, type of interaction, etc).

The output of information is just an important, as it distributes billions of tweets which allows them to develop relationships from reposts, comments, and user ID. The data catalog that Doc Now provides consists of a giant data source of tweets. (Over 7 billion tweets)
