Based on our research, there is a good connection between digital humanities and sociology.
Digital humanities and sociology both aim to understand social structures and human behavior, making them aligned. Within both our projects, “Digital Society Project” and “SelfieCity”, both focus on understanding social behaviors through digital data.
In our project, we believe that yes, interdisciplinary collaboration is profitable. Within digital humanities and sociology, our project shows an understanding of social media’s effects and can offer more insight on it as well!
