They fulfill this aim by providing high-quality, publicly available, data describing the intersection between politics and social media in countries around the world.

Now for the graph, the darker the color is (for that country) the better the goverement never disseminates false information on key political issues.” this represents the, Foreign Government Dissemination of False Information chart. the darker the color is (for that country) the better the government never disseminates false information on key political issues.
For example United States is a lighter color, which means its pretty bad so because of publicized foreign interventions on social media over the last several years.

Project 2:

Project 2 is “selfiecity“, and selfiecity is by a group called DigitalThoughtFacility which consists of 8 people back in 2014 and only lasted about a year. they’re goal was to examie selfies across 5 different big cities throughout the globe. while selfies were just becoming a thing in 2011 they wanted to find the demographics of people taking selfies, their posses and expressions.

this image plots are a way to determine the facial expressions of the selfies in different cities across the country based by mood and appearance. at the bottom it kind of got cut off but the scale of these graphs is all the way to the left is a straight-faced to all the way on the right was selfies with big smiles/etc.

The last 2 cities that were involoved were San Paulo and New York. which San Paulo had one on the highest amounts of smiling pictures. in these plots they’re split between gender and ranked by the expression on their faces.
