Evaluation

This is my Evaluation of the connection discipline to Digital Humanities, comprising of methods, goals, and values.

Methods

Both Market Research & American Business 1935-1965 and Digital Humanities understand the importance of Data collection. They use specific methods to achieve their goals, and some of their methods cross over to each discipline. Data collection and the ability to use the information help both disciplines.

Goals

The goal for Market Research & American Business 1935-1965 is to reuse their archives and study and create something new from the information from the mid-1900s. The goal of Digital Humanities is to publish and share cultural data. Both overlap because when Market Research & American Business allows scholars to reuse their archives, they publish and share cultural data.

Values

Once again, Market Research & American Business (1935-1965) values the reuse of scholarly work, and digital humanities value experimentation. Scholars would be able to see the archives of the Market Research & American Business project and experiment with their own market research using the work of others in the past.
