In other words, music composition is about writing music, whether that music is pleasing, dissonant or somewhere in between. On a more technical, music composition deals with the ordering and disposing of several sounds in a manner that is typically pleasing to the ear, either individually or in collaboration with other composers. There are many different techniques and styles of composing that allows different composers to find a unique and personal expression. Some prefer composing with a traditional pen and paper, while others like experimenting with computer software technology to create new sounds.
