The creation of DubC Food, a West Chester borough food plan for students and faculty at West Chester University, will result in satisfaction and community strengthening. It brings consistent business to local restaurants and gives WCU members the chance to eat better food.

Satisfaction

Having the chance to eat good food from highly regarded restaurants will increase the satisfaction levels in all who participate. A greater variety in meal options allows for greater contentment.

Community

Encouraging students and faculty from the university to engage with local businesses increases the community of West Chester. Those at WCU are not stuck on campus, allowing for the community to flourish and strengthen. Students and faculty can make off-campus connections that can benefit them in the future. Additionally, loneliness is a huge factor to why students drop out of college. By encouraging students to travel off campus and connect with West Chester community members, loneliness decreases.
