A Meal Plan that encompasses a Borough, is likely to have been accomplished at a local scale for some University, however in the Scope of West Chester University there are only a few options that are remotely close to DUBC Food. A project that attributes some similarity to our vision, is the OCMP platform, offers service to only 10 Schools

OCMP offers 10 universities the oppurtunity to use their program. OCMP offers students in their designated locations, the ability to ordrr from over 50 different vendors, to which they outsource delivery to apps like Grubhub & SnackPass. All meals for OCMP costs $11 to which customers are able to use any increment of said meal. Their meals plans can and pricing can be viewed in the figure to the left. Their Semester works on predefined times such as the fall semesters interval being: June 1st – December 31st. OCMP also offers budget tracking, but does not have features that include review scraping.
DUBC Food offers functionality quite similar to OCMP, but a unique enough iteration to provide it’s own purpose. DUBC Food is personalized to the Borough of West Chester, many of the restaurants on the OCMP platform are chains, to which the OCMP really only extends to schools to which provide these vendors. DUBC Food also offers to deliver review data, and a more engaging platform rather then a meal manager.
