Evaluation

Overall, the EarlyPrint project supports several best practices of DH, including open collaboration, preservation of cultural data, public accessibility, innovation, the use of metadata, and the use of linked open data. However, the project’s lack of clear documentation throughout each of its developmental processes and absence of an official white paper does not align with the best practice of transparency, which enables future scholars to repeat and adapt EarlyPrint’s methodology to other projects within digital publishing.
