Tools

This data will be organized in a database by using MySQL. For user contributions, you can have a table to store study guides, lecture notes, and other resources, with columns for the content, uploader’s ID, and upload date. For monetary transactions, another table can record payments made to users for their contributions, including the user ID, transaction amount, and timestamp. To track user engagement, you can use tables to record user activity such as downloads and ratings. There will also be a database available for classes and the reviews that are given so that information is easy to find.

A rating system can also be a highly beneficial tool in this project by providing students with a means to assess the reliability and usefulness of study materials shared by their peers. By allowing users to rate study resources based on factors such as accuracy, clarity, and helpfulness, the rating system empowers students to make informed decisions about which materials to utilize for their studies. This not only enhances the overall quality of the study resource platform but also fosters a sense of accountability and trust within the student community. This rating system will be something simple and accessible when clicking on information that has been uploaded. It will be out of five stars one star being terrible and five being excellent, and users will also be able to give a more detailed review as well.
