Goals & Audience

Goals: This project aims to create a simple and easy to access digital map consisting of lots of data which visualizes restaurants and student ratings as well as there feedback. Specifically my goals are to:

• Curate a list of local West Chester restaurants
• Map Restaurants on Interactive map
• Build a rating system and average all the ratings for one overal
• Get a general description of each restaurant for detail section
• Deliver all this data onto my projects website

The map will serve as a resource for students looking for local restaurants. It will highlight students feedback and ratings.

Audience: West Chester University students are the primary audience because they rely on accurate student reviews when choosing where to eat. This project gives them an easy way to compare local spots and make decisions about where to go and where not to based on a variety of data and different factors.
