West Chester Student Rated Restaurants

This project was done for DHM 280, Fall 2025, by Hannah Hagy a Sophomore Media and Culture Major at West Chester University. The purpose of this assignment is to create a proposal for a project I believe is needed in my community and then to evaluate how it uses data, tools, methods, and values that align with practices in Digital Humanities.

The goal of this proposal is to create a interactive map with markers which provide students with menus, distances from campus, and ratings only West Chester students can make therefore its personalized and specific to the needs of West Chester students rather than adults in the area. The current issue West Chester students face is they can not find restaurants tailored for college age students.
