This website was created by Magaly Gaspar Acuna, a Communication Sciences and Disorders major who is enrolled in DHM 280 Fall 2026 class at West Chester University. In this required Digital Humanities project, I set out to find the compatibility between work in the Digital Humanities (DH) and work in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD). To identify these connections, I will first define and explore each discipline as individual fields. I will then analyze a digital project within the CSD field and examine a publication from the disciple to better understand how CSD researchers use digital tools. Ultimately, this project will use a website to present my analysis and determine how DH approaches may connect with and contribute to work being done in the CSD space.
