Dr. Kenton Rambsy along with the creation of the entire Jay Z Mixtape put a very strong emphasis on communication and transparency. This project does a stellar job of using good communication by using clear language, visuals, and tools to explain the extremely complex data that is used throughout the whole project. Scalar and Voyant tools are able to make interactive graphs throughout, so the audience can interact and get the full information.
Transparency is also very prevalent throughout this project. It openly sources and documents where it gets the data from, tools, and methods used throughout. Using Genius for determining lyrics and word usage, Voyant tools for text analysis and visualization.
