This University-Run Online Study Network provides a 24/7, 365 days a year, service that will not only help students connect and network with other students in their department, but also help those who may be more introverted break out of their shell. Digital communication is the norm in modern day, and we see this every single day in the classroom. On the move from chalkboards to projectors, exposing ALL students to digital epicenters of information and people just like them opens the door to new study groups, project proposals, future business endeavors, and lifelong friendships.
Additionally, I mentioned previously how this project would domino. A domino effect with online study forums would not only grow this idea to other universities, but would also lead to online collaborations among separate universities, connecting students and staff from across campuses, states, countries, and even the world. The sky is the limit with digital connection through education; therefore, we should embrace the technological world in the direction it’s heading.
