The value of digital humanities that closely relates to the Linked Jazz project is experimentation.
Experimentation is defined by using digital tools and adverse research methods to study topics. Experimentation takes many forms however I believe exploration would be the best term that relates to Linked Jazz.
The project uses its digital tools to find the relations between two musicians and new ways to correlate cultural documentation and digital tools. “New modes of connecting cultural data have the potential to open up new and unprecedented avenues of research and community engagement.”
