URI Generation

Every individual musician discovered in an each transcript has a URI made for them that serves as a namespace including the musician’s name. This is then put into the visualization web allowing for an intricate map of relations.

Relationship Data

According to the project, the interview transcripts are fed through the analyzer to break them into a Q&A block. This structure is used to find the relation between two musicians through the assumption an interviewee references the other. This creates and RDF triple that shows the basic relationship.

The project also used human processing by using the crowdsourcing tool, the 52nd street. Volunteers are given snippets of interview text and are tasked to choose through options of relationships between the interviewee and the person mentioned. This is then stored and put into its own triple.
