Values

Supply chain management within the HuLog project uses the value of fairness. This done to ensure that their study highlights how management systems, logistics, and tracking systems need to ethically regulated and checked consistently. Fairness needs to exist within the mordernization of this field to ensure that workers are being treated fairly.

When connecting fairness to digital humanities, the value of transparency is directly comparable, meaning data sources must be shared. It relates to documenting everything and not leaving anything out to be an honest source. In the same way, these systems that are used in supply chain management need to have transparency.

Both disciplines want the final output to be documented honestly, so nothing is left out. They both want to show how something changes over time, whether that is through the production cycle or throughout history.
