Supply Chain Management
Supply chain management investigates the system a product goes through from start to finish. Involves the design, planning, execution, and monitoring of supply chain functions with the goal of measuring performance and looking at the link between supply and demand.
Supply Chain Management relates to culture through how it relates to organizational culture and the shared values organizations use in decision-making and how a workplace operates.
As a West Chester program, supply chain management will prepare its students for logistics, operations, and procurement; along with this, you will gain practical experience in systems, applications, and products (SAP) data processing. This is studied through quantitative analysis such as mathematical and predictive formulas used to solve logistical challenges.

Digital Humanities
Digital Humanities deals with the connection of humanities to digital technologies. It involves using digital resources to grow beyond what used to be the standard of written words for knowledge production and distribution. Digital humanities allows for new techniques and teaching while also studying and analyzing their impact on digital culture and cultural heritage.
When looking at how it connects to culture, Digital Humanities looks at culture and the changes happening around it to promote learning and move us forward while not forgetting about the past and analyzing our impact.
As a program at West Chester, it explores how technologies can inspire and inform humanities research. It uses digital media to build students’ understanding of what it means to be human. This is done through creating projects, writing code, and analyzing databases. The staff within this program all have their own expertise and build a well-rounded understanding of digital humanities.
