In this project I am studying Detroitography, a digital mapping initiative that explores the city of Detroit through maps and data. The goal is to understand how mapping can be used to convey social, cultural, and economic information in new ways. My main objective is to connect this project to the field of digital humanities by showing how technology can tell meaningful stories about real communities.
