Surfacing aims to simplify and streamline the publicly available information on submarine cable networks. This visual mapping project makes data computation easier than traditional humanities methods by creating a technological version of the existing data regarding undersea cable networks. This project consolidates the lengthy and confusing scholarly work on the topic into one easy-to-use site.
