Team 1 includes members Emily Raffaele, Angellina Shmayger, and Joel Austin. Emily is a double major in education & performance, while Joel and Angellina are solely performance. Emily is in her 5th year, Joel 4th, and Angelina 3rd and we all currently study at West Chester University Wells School of Music. We are currently in our fall 2026 semester in a class called Introduction to Digital Humanities DHM280.
We were assigned a project that asks us to analyze a digital project showing work in a discipline and evaluate its goals, its values, and its use of tools and methods. Using this analysis, we are going to conclude a relationship, or lack of, between Digital Humanities and an academic discipline area in the (non)humanities. We were assigned to create a website to complete as our project 1.
We have chosen musicology as out discipline since we are all music majors and think there could be a strong connection with Musicology and DH, this website will reveal those similarities or differences between the two diciplines.
