A value my project embodies is openness. The American Sign Language Linguistic Research project is very open about the data and software they use. It is public on their website which allows anyone anyone to use it, with guidelines. This relates to the digital humanities because they value openness for personal but also collaborative reasons. Digital humanities rely on data, tools and platforms which the ASLLRP provides.
