Goals

The goal of the American Sign Language Linguistic Research Project is to “advance computer-based recognition and generation of signed languages while learning about the structure of ASL through digital tools.” This goal relates to digital humanities because that is what digital humanities is, integrating the use of technology and digital tools to research along with traditional methods to learn more and gain new knowledge.
