The values of the project closely align with the DHM values of openness and collaboration highlighting the goal of being an nonpartisan display of data. The value of openness and transparency is shown in ACLED’s efforts to display sources for all of the collection of data displayed on the website. Collaboration is pushed in the communal effort to uses and display info from widely varied sources and resisting centralized news outlets. ACLED is the collaborative efforts of multiple writers and analysts.
