The Truman Project proves how closely related Digital Humanities and Communication studies are. The values and tools that the Truman Project used can be applied in the Digital Humanities field. Both fields examine how people create and share cultures and information.
Digital Humanities focuses more on the methods for how we study people and culture. Communication studies focuses on how people communication and how that communication impacts society and culture. There is a clear overlap between the two fields and without one of them, the other one could be less successful.
