The two main methods that were integrated into this project were Dynamic Temporal Segmentation and Tone Analysis. Both are types of tradition interpretive analysis.
Dynamic Temporal Segmentation – the process of analyzing large textual data to summarize it and to capture trends within the data over a period of time.
Tone Analysis – analyzing datasets to identify tones within it. In many cases used to capture tones within aspects of news coverage.
