Drupal is a content management software that is used to make websites and applications and allows for the easy creation of integrated digital frameworks

MySQL (Structured Query Language) is a database management system that allows for the creation and management of features as simple as galleries to entire corporate networks.

Adobe is utilized in two different ways in this project via Adobe RGB & Adobe Bridge. Adobe RGB is a color space, which is just a mathematical representation of a set of colors, with RGB being one of them. Adobe Bridge is for content organization for print, web, and video.

The most important tool utilized by the HPC project is the University of Bristol’s Preservica Digital Asset Management System (DAMS). Preservica is a company dedicated to digital memory and its long-term storage of it. They cater to the content of unique cultural importance, which is exactly what HPC is. DAMS is a combination of digital asset management & digital preservation, meaning they combined short-term asset use and long-term asset use. Data stored under this is able to be accessed for decades into the future, and even if the software is retired or becomes obsolete, this data can be reformatted and continue being preserved.
