One project is the Berkeley Student Cooperative, this is to provide cheap housing options for college students located close to the University of California, Berkeley. Much like in my project the Berkeley Student Cooperative shows the problem of expensive housing options for students and what effects it has on their finances. However, the Berkeley Student Cooperative is trying to provide cheaper accommodation options.
Another project that focuses on student housing affordability is conducted by the University of Pennsylvania Institute for Urban Research. This project studies university housing affordability problems and the impact of student housing on communities. This project is related to mine because they both concentrate on the topic of housing affordability.
