Redlining on Fire Insurance & Risk Management in U.S.

DHM 280 Spring 2025

Project By: Roman Patrone

This project will look at how historical redlining and fire-related risks combine when it comes to business risk management. Redlining is a discriminatory practice that shaped the housing and lending policies we use today. This continues to impact urban communities and exposure to risks. By using data visualization, historical documentation, and geospatial analysis these projects and publications can help homeowners & business owners have access to valuable information.
